Qualifications

• Strong modern Typescript Node.js development skills
• Strong understanding of REST API design and implementation
• Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL
• Experience with AWS services such as Elastic Beanstalk, Batch, CloudFront, S3, and lambda
• Experience with Docker and container-based development in a Linux environment
• Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills

Bonus: Experience with big data, or geospatial data and services

Job brief

We are looking for a highly capable Node.js developer to optimize our web-based application performance. You will be collaborating with our front-end application developers, designing back-end components, and integrating data storage and protection solutions.

To ensure success as a Node.js developer, you should possess extensive knowledge of Node.Js based services and experience in a similar role. An accomplished Node.js developer will be someone whose expertise results in the stable, fast, and secure exchange of data between servers and end-users.

Responsibilities

• Optimizing servers for speed and stability.
• Building security structures.
• Generating reusable code libraries.
• Creating data storage solutions.
• Develop high-quality software design and architecture
• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
• Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
• Review and debug code
• Perform validation and verification testing
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
• Document development phases and monitor systems
• Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies

Selection process consist of mainly 3 steps:

• Screening discussion (15-30 mins.)
• Case study presentation by Candidate (30-40 mins.)
• Management interview.

EQUITY BASED/NO SALARY

Note: Part-Time: Equity Base compensation.
